Mobil 1™ Joins Team Kalitta
In a recent press release by Mobil 1™, it was announced that Mobil 1™ will join Team Kalitta as the official lubricant partner of Kalitta Motorsports in 2020. Kalitta Motorsports has a proven track record of success with seven National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) world championships. They hope to build on this history of success with the help of ExxonMobil’s new Mobil 1™ Drag Racing motor oil.
This partnership is a perfect pairing since Mobil 1™ has a strong track record all of its own. In fact, Mobil 1™ also has partnerships with Porsche, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, Corvette Racing, and many other teams in various championship competitions such as the FIA World Endurance Championship, World Rally Championship, and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Mobil 1™ also has the honor of being the Official Lubricant Technology Partner and Official Motor Oil of NASCAR.

Partnerships like this one, allow Mobil 1™ to continue to push the envelope when it comes to lubricant technology creating lubricants that facilitate superior engine and gearbox performance under the extreme testing grounds of racing environments. The scientists and engineers working for Mobil 1™ are able to use these extreme environments to test new and improved formulas that push the boundaries of not only race car lubricants, but the field of traditional lubricants as well.
